  4. I’m reading the forth book now and I think that it’s amasing how quickly Andrew Lane has written them all but still made them action packed and generally awesome! I really want my friends to read them.

After watching the two Sherlock Holmes films starring Robert Downey Jr. (my favourite movies of all time!), I fell in love with Sherlock Holmes (was disappointed to find out that he was fictional, lol). And so, I have started the first of these books, Death Cloud, today! I desperately wanted them! I had to keep begging my parents to take me to WHSmith. So excited that I now have it!

  22. Hi, my name Viktoria, and unlike most fans of this amazing series of books, I live in Brazil. Yes, Brazil, so do not call if my English is very bad.
    Here only released the first and second book in the series, and I am loving!
    Well, since I’ve been searching for some sites and found that there will be something with the Virginia and Sherlock. And I can tell, I’m anxious. But until we get the sequel, which I can do is wait.

  24. Wow. Andrew Lane, I salute you! Young Sherlock Holmes is one of the very first things that made me a Sherlockian. When I asked our school librarian, ” Do we have any of the Sherlock Holmes books? ” I was extremely disappointed when she replied the negative.
    “However, we do have the Young Sherlock Holmes books, in the mysteries section.”
    I was already on my knees looking for it when I thanked her. I now own Red Leech, Black Ice and Fire Storm. Death Cloud was the one I read from the library, and I wouldn’t rest until I found the next one. I’m sorry, this has been terribly long comment, but it’s a brilliant series!!! I think Sherlock and Virginia are such a sweet couple! I was actually quite gutted when Virginia kissed her… I’m sure I wasn’t the only one!

  25. I started reading Sir A.C. Doyle’s original stories when I was in middle school, and these books brought a whole new perspective to them. I congratulate Mr. Lane and hope that if he is ever in America that he will come to Michigan… I would encourage anyone who enjoys the original series to read these as well! I look forward to getting my hands on the fifth book soon!

  26. The fifth book ends with a disappointment that most of you won’t be able to bear. It is a good book though but I think the ending ruins it. How could Mr Lane write that sort of ending. It ruins the complexity for the series. He could have illustrated his point in a different way. I know for the people who haven’t read this book you wouldn’t know what I am talking about but be sure to read it as the mystery is good.
