This book is amazing! I got it 2 days ago, and I couldn’t put it down! I finished it today and I can’t wait for the next book!
I won’t spoil the book for anyone who hasn’t read it, but I will say this: I think it’s one of the most dangerous mysteries that Sherlock must face.
You have to buy this book. It’s awesome. It even defies the laws of awesome, because it is that awesome! It’s a must read!

The most pleasant thing about the book is that it’s got plenty of Mycroft Holmes, and really thanks for this… BUT.
It is indeed strange nowadays, in the times if Internet/ Wiki/ whatever other sources avalable to read that…
– Winter palace is in Moscow. It is in St.Petersburgh and it is written in every guide.
– Tzar lives in Kremlin. In the XIX century (indeed from XVII century!) the capital of Russia was located in SPb, so naturally Tzar (Emperor in fact) lived there, as did Shuvalov, and all more or less important political figures. Moscow was more of a provincy.
– Shuvalov operated at Lubyanka. All “communist-horror” tales put aside, Lubyanka started operating only in XX century, it is of Soviet period.
Not to mention bears in Moscow region…
The book is nice, just it is advisable to give it good editing beforehand…Comment by Volta on July 3, 2011 at 2:56 pm

Hey. I live in America, and just got Rebel Fire (US title of Red Leech) yesterday. I was wondering when Black Ice is coming out in America; and if the title will be changed, and, if so, to what?

I finished this earlier this month. This is the first book that I’ve read in the series. I’ve always been a big Sherlock Holmes fan and I’ve read the entire canon. Black Ice just came out in the U.S. in January. Even though books four and five haven’t come out here yet, they are available on Amazon and I think I will order Fire Storm.
